You need to keep practicing. Try seeing photoshop tutorials, or go to eclipse, they will love you there.

It's a stretched image with text over it.

Yes, the simplicity is quite appealing.

I can't tell wether Nean is being sarcastic or not. And robin it's not a stretched image, it's just saved as a Jpeg, then modified and saved again.

If you honestly can't tell whether or not I'm being sarcastic, just by looking at the quality of what you've posted, than you need glasses. To be honest, I can't even believe you're trying to pass that off as... Something even usable.

Protip 1: If you're gonna make GUIs with MSPaint, save ALL of your work in .png format.

Protip 2: Don't use MSPaint for text

No, it's stretched because you stretched it.

Don't fucking argue with me.

Yes. The building is stretched. You can see that by the blur on it that isn't present on the floor tiles. ;)

Learn to integrate the text into the picture. Perhaps using some buttons there would help rather than plain text. I'm not talking VB6 IDE buttons either, I'm talking DX rendered. Then it'd fit in.

Pretty cool drawing man. I think you should draw the menu text and buttons too.

I think that'll be my next move until I get more Photoshop and FireWorks ExP.

Should'nt take too much time, in Photoshop use the rectangle tool to create a rectangle and double click the layer to add an embess or stroke and maybe a gradient overlay to make it look cool.
