hey was taking a shot at making some tiles. and ive gotten this so far. Im not so sure about the sides of the cliff. but i wasnt sure about how to make it look like it was diagonal anyway. Any suggestions?

the grass of the dirt part. If its the grass im not changin it cuz that is the style im goin for. But the dirt on the other hand is another matter...

Don't just do lazy re-colours for new tiles. Water looks nothing like grass, so texture it to look different.

seriously, you need some contrast. Your game looks (to me) like you are just using 1 color tiles.

huh? well i can see at least two shades of green brown and blue. but the grass and water isnt supposed to be that much contrast. thats the style i like to do.

Agreed. Even if you're going for the washed out look, that'll just look like block colour on some monitors.
