I think it is good - but the angle is a little odd. Besides that though, looks nice! |

the perspective looks strange because the trees and stuff don't match. If you're intending to use the house in the game, it probably wont work unless you change everything else to match the perspective. |

Agreed. New House - ignore the doorway, it was fast made to cover the emptyness. |

I totally hate the second one. The first one's angles are weird, but I think if you just made the angle the same both places on the roof, it would look better. Maybe also make the house a bit smaller. The slight angle on the sides of the house look good, or at least fit with everything else better. Or, you could redo the proportions of your other things, trees etc... and have them pop out at you. It's really a cool effect for a 2D game. |

4/10, i just dont think the sprite matches the tiles style. Sprites are awsome but the tiles just dont match |

I agree with Vans, sprites are awsome, I also believe that the house looks sweet as well as the other tiles. The sprites just look like a completely different style than the tiles. But, the house looks good, roof kinda does look like it goes straight up, but it also looks like it could go back, kinda hard to tell, it's the way you look at it I think. |

So any idea how we could do the sprites.. more matching with the tiles?.. I wont redo the tiles now couse ive done so much, if you told me this when i posted the first tree that would be fine lol. But now.. xD |

Well, I am not artist haha, but to me the sprites look a lot more real compared to the tiles. Like, cartoony to realims comparison kinda thing you know? Like having ShadowRun Sprites in a Zelda world. I think if they were kinda fatter maybe, bigger kinda. Thats my oppinion. Vans is probably the guy to talk to. |

I see your point, thanks. Well yea, if Vans can give some advice how to make the sprites more.. fitting into the tiles.. Ill litsen ^^ |

Well the fact that the tiles are just brushed with no outlines or anything and the sprites are all pixeled with outlines probably contributes the most to the unmatchyness (that word is totally real, I swear) |

Ill explain with an edit of the house, give me 15 min and ill post |

first thing before pixeling: the outline: Remember that if you are making a perspectived object make it as simetrical as possible. Now, about the style itself, ill show you some examples to show you: rmxp: As you can see the style is the same, both have cel out, a good inner anti-alias, a great usage of shadow and lights in sprites and tiles elpis: both tiles and sprites have black outline, both dont have inner anti alias both don't really use desaturated colors I hope you understand what imtrying to say. If you use the same style they will match much more better together and sorry for my english, im from argentina xD Vans |
