I'm not really going to use them for anything. When I get bored I just make one or two tiles and this is what I've done so far. If you can't tell, I love the 16 bit style.

no it doesn't. Go look at a brick. There's bumps, holes, cracks. Now set it on the ground, and walk away from it a little. Is it shiny? NO! |

Marble bricks? They're white, it could be.(im talking about the white ones, btw  )And 16x16 leaves little room for detail

I sanded his bricks flat and painted it with gloss paint. O_o Flat and shiny! =P |

Ah there is always room for detail in 16x16 tiles.. Now 8x8, that's hard.
