Post subject:  Fallen: Tales Of Thalenore
Ok yea, so I always worked on either Fallen or ToT. I never finished either of them, well I did, I just never released them lol. Well I have been practicing a lot and I figured I would combine them into one game, here is why. fallen was the ORPG and ToT was going to be an RPG. Now that I have developed a very unique quest system, I managed to combine them both. Imagine taking a story line from a final fantasy game, creating it in an online environment and forcing players to work together to accomplish goals through out the game. Of course I needed a shiny quest system and a shiny party system and I did just that. This is not going to be a game where you sit there, hack and slash NPC's and and get EXP and new armor. You won't go talk to the elf dude and end up killing a ferocious dragon in one quest. You will actually play through a long story of quests and choose your path, sort of like Fable. It features an alignment system. Players can make decisions during quests that actually change the events of their "Story". Of course there will be Hacking and Slashing of NPC's and finding new items. If thats how you like your ORPG, feel free to do just that because the game is designed to also fill your needs.

Current Major Features
  • Buffed up quest system
    Explained above this.
  • Player ran shops
    Players can set up shops and other players can interact with it to buy items from them.
  • Player quest system (wtf is that?!?!)
    This is probably the most innovated thing I have ever coded from scratch. Basically, every player gets a quest editor, but they are only allowed to have one quest. They can make any quest they want, whether it be, go get me this item, or go kill this player. Players set the award given. there is a community list of player quests available and players click and choose one at a time so other players get a chance. I really hope this works out as nicely as I think it will.
  • Banks
    You already know.
  • Card System
    Cards are just items with various effects, Warping, Healing, giving an item, basically anything.
  • Alchemy (Skill with experience + ability)
    You get the ingredients, go to a towns alchemy post, mix the ingredientas there, get your results, gain EXP.
