Fox, I'm glad you're going to continue this project. After all the work you put into it, it would be stupid not to.

Btw, you could always start converting MR to Java.

Java was released in 1995. VB6 in 1998. YOU TELL ME WHICH IS OLD. Also, Java is inherently slow because it's INTERPRETED AT RUNTIME. Visual Basic (6.0, still) is compiled into machine code and executed at run time.

VB is simple, but it's the best at what it does.

I agree, its simplicity is un-rivaled;

However you failed to mention Java has been updated constantly, and despite its inherent slowness it can still be bloody fast.

As for it being cross platform.. ^^

Anyhow this isnt a 'my dad can beat up your dad' thread lol, if anyone has any experience with mini-pc box's let me know.

And that's what we use it for
