Eh... I decided to come here for help then. I had a bunch of tuts bookmarked and I was looking through em. Decided to add this one. http://web.miragesource.com/old-tutoria ... 0Maps.html Two questions. Rofl. Who wrote it? Unless Shan really did write it... [cause it says Sync]. And... Can someone help me with a problem? I have existing maps before adding this. When testing it out, it fucked up my maps. Majorly. Any way to save my maps? Some sort of map converter? Or is something in that code missing? The feature itself works, but my maps... =[ Someone point me in the right direction anyways. =] |

god dammit, how come everyone is able to add this to their game except me? I've tried this same tutorial 3 times and it never worked. |

Matt, I'm pretty sure Verrigan wrote that tutorial. <3 Phillip, I'm pretty sure you suck at this tutorial. <3 |

I am pretty sure you can't suck at a tutorial that is copy & paste. I'm not sure what it is but I must have something I added to my code that makes it all wonky, but no one, not even Prefekt and Robin have been able to help me. |

There looks / sounds like conflict with iLoadMap and MapRec. |

I don't think this tutorial is complete anyways. There are a couple of other things you have to add in for it to work properly. I am pretty sure if you have it all working though you shouldn't have to change your maps at all and they should load properly. You must have done something wrong but honestly I don't know what |

Perfekt has the extra steps required to get it working, and it's worked for a couple of people, just not me. |

Think that was Misunderstood's, although some of the work is Verrigan's, as he built it off the Scrolling Maps code. I added it to a blank source a while back and even added some nice things, like walking animations between maps. It's a nice tutorial but there are better ways of doing it. |

Well, hey, I got it all figured out. Thanks guys. =] I'm not such a noob programmer after all. Kinda glad for that one. Lol, PDoA is still alive and kicking. =] I hope to be more active around here after PDoA v4 is released. |
