You could cut the left portion of the command and then trim the spaces (if there happen to be any..) of the arguments, and then use the arguments as part of your who function..
For example..

If Left(CStr, 4) = "/who" Then
CStr = Right(CStr, Len(CStr) - 4)
Trim$(CStr)
CheckWho(Index, CStr)
End If
If Left(CStr, 4) = "/who" Then
CStr = Right(CStr, Len(CStr) - 4)
Trim$(CStr)
CheckWho(Index, CStr)
End If
The above example will allow the command to work with or without a space, and you could have your CheckWho function pop up with an error message if CStr is not in the socket list..
