This is another MSE based game that's been around since the PW times (2002, I believe). I've been visiting there every so often. One thing that stuck me was that it have not been updated for almost two years. Last update was march 22, 2005. I looks like it's about as far as it can get, development wise, and with the technology it's using. Take a gander at the Versions.txt it comes with. Some pretty interesting stuff in there. Could this product be the future MSE based games have? Take a look at Kronia (.net). It's on virtual standstill, but is only 2 years old. Younger then SOM. Pretty much the same thing. What do you guys think? |

If the owner has very little creativity, then yes. But you can add w/e you want to the game, as long as you have no issue with complicating gameplay a bit. |

I played SoM a few times. it isn't that bad. But the thing that amazes me the most, is that there seems to be no BIG updates for the game....yet, its still growing.... |

i actuly played som for about .....4 yearS? its my favorite game like this, it actuly is updated quit freqintly with there autoupdaters , and there community is insanly great. :EDIT: also the reason there arnt any BIG updates is because the owner/creator "scorpio" is in collage and this i like his part time thing =( |

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's updated it since then. I get on every now and then just to play an MS game instead of program one, and it seems theres new stuff pretty often. Nothing is ever really great, but new none the less. |
