Ok i made a client.exe of ms4 for people to test for errors and glitches, FPS are unlocked i added an admin panel and made some things in DXmod private, and replaced tile1 with my tiles and deleted tile2 is all i did to this. So please get on and help ms4 out by finding errors and glitches with the system. And no bitching about how i should stop helping or other should stop helping. the client is online 24/7 test away all new version of ms4 will be put up when they come out. So please test it and report bugs for the community so that way people can fix them. http://spirea.kozlowski.ws/download/Client.rar there's the link to the client. please help out. I'm doing a service by hosting it for mirage for testing on an online server. |

Hey there is a spell animation bug I noticed while playing. When you cast a spell and it kills the NPC in one shot, the animation will be drawn on the newly spawned NPC. Sorry to post twice in a row, but i wanted it bumped so its noticed. ***Edit: I just realized there was thread on this bug already, although it only mentioned the spell animation be drawn in the corner. Not sure if it was the same bug, and i'm not using a new enough version to look for myself. |

Not a bad idea, +1 for you, but next time edit as little as possible. Messing around with things may cause errors that aren't in the real MSE4 version. |

I compared the two myself the only thing that was changed is a few privates in the modDX which instead of causing issues fixed a few issues as well as increasing FPS by 15 to 45 mattering on your graphics card or ram usage. Private DD As DirectDraw7 ' DirectDraw7 Object Private DD_Clip As DirectDrawClipper ' Clipper object ' primary surface Private DDS_Primary As DirectDrawSurface7 Private DDSD_Primary As DDSURFACEDESC2 ' back buffer Private DDS_BackBuffer As DirectDrawSurface7 Private Const SurfaceTimerMax As Long = 20000 Private Sub DD_ReadySurface Private Sub BltMapTile Private Sub BltMapFringeTile Private Sub BltPlayer Private Sub BltNpc that is everything i changed besides adding in a admin panel which would cause no general errors towards other things =] With an online server the only issues i really see are mostly because of my slow dial up XD. which is slower login and the npcs sometimes move slower based on my connection but other than that the npcs can be fixed for slower connection, really everything could by using byte arrays. |
