Obviously there are going to be limitations to a portable version. I remember reading somewhere that is something to do with the components? Anyway, has anyone actually used it with Mirage to any great success?

(I have googled this by the way, it's basically just a load of people going BAWWW ILLEGAL or BAWWW .NET PWNS.)

I have a portable version, and I haven't had one issue with Mirage Source project files. The components you can use just depend on what you have on your computer; as far as I can tell.

So no good if I don't have the full version installed on the computer I'm using it on basically.

Okay, thanks.

If by 'he' you are referring to me, then you are correct.

If you're female, you should specify in some form or another, otherwise, get used to being called he. :P

Still, it's not entirely portable because something would have to be installed on the computer you're using it on.

I beleive there is a work around somewhere that allows you to draw components off the drive itself, also, if your MS game auto registers DLLs, you could register external DLLs to the system.

Nah, I'm male :P. I just felt you weren't very implicit as to who you were referring to.
