| take a look at stuff like tweenMax http://www.greensock.com/v12/ and paper.js http://paperjs.org but yes, I'd be tempted to do the UI outside of the canvas and do only the heavy duty drawing on it. Of course, it depends how complex you want the UI... but it absolutely positioned divs you can do just... |

| There are websocket libraries for android, too......... socket.io and node.js are looking better and better, but I don't feel like learning something new right now :-) I'll start making a plan, we can probably launch crossplatform pretty easily, especially if I'm not the only one working on it..... ... |

| How is android's socket interface? Oh would we be stuck doing it over http anyways with android? All the networking I've done with android has been http requests.... if we develop an http API, it would be easy to make a client in both Java for android and JavaScript for web... bit of latency and hig... |

| I'm going to talk to William tomorrow about updating the forum software. Currently it's at 3.0.5 and the latest stable release is 3.0.10 - with 3.0.6 came a new captcha system that will get rid of these spam bots! |
