Well, I am developing a player housing system and was wondering, what would be better: One house for all of a player's characters or one house per character? The one house per player allows for all three characters to use it (design it and store things in chests) The one house per character is self-... |

As of default MSE1, you line them up in one row of sprites. The sections should be 3 sprites wide and 1 sprite wide. Every third sprite is an attack sprite. UU U DD D LL L RR R U = facing up (back to you) D = facing down (front to you) L = facing left (<-) R = facing right (->) Bolded are attack spr... |

Instead of bothering with this, I just made a packet that saves the player's inventory. If you find an existing packet, do tell me.
Now, the visual inventory works perfectly! Just need to add in special affects later XP. |

What? Explain please. At the moment I set the players inventory slots to switch items, but it is only client side and doesn't save it to the player's .ini |

Again, the sendsaveitem call saved the item itself, from the item editor...it doesn't save any of the player's inventory... |

That is for saving an item from the item editor. I want to save where an item is in the players inventory. |

Well, I finished my visual inventory and, when I move things around (click and drag), the image updates, also, I set the players inventory to the new spaces, but when I exit/reopen the game, it doesn't save the spaces. Is their an existing packet I can't find, or do I have to make a new one? |

Ambitious are we? 1. Whatever you feel like using, I prefer MSE1 2. Haven't finished mine yet 3. Start slow, do tutorials, then edit them. Then, make your own code, play around with MS. Don't rush and expect it to be perfect.
I'm not good with names, they both don't work IMO. |

Well, I added in a VisualInventory to my game. It works fine for adding items, blts them correctly. But, when I blt over that (when the player drops/looses the item) with black, there aer 2 remaining pixels on the right side and the bottom of the object there berfore it. I checked my values and they... |

That is similar to what I did to display chars on the UseCharacter form. I just edited the sendchar packet that is sent whe you log on. Re-using code is more efficient, also. |

OK. Here is how you make custom code. First, look for similar tutorials on the forums (such as adding in things to items, in your case). Then, you examine the code and look at how the packet works. Then, you code it yourself. Try your best, if it works, then great! If it fails, post your error(s) he... |
